Dear Ones.... From chapter one, I am committed to become more aware of the words that flow from my mouth. And more privately, the thoughts that "pop" into my mind. Already into chapter two, and I am enjoying it. When the author states that she is from the women's liberation movement, and actually struggled with some of the same things that I struggle with, it brought a smile to my face. Some how it gives her more validity in my mind. Just some of my thoughts so far. A scripture that I have memorized and that I find so joyful is Jeremiah 29:13 Seek me and yea shall FIND me when ye search with all your heart"
Dearest Nicole, Just starting chapter 3. But, I love what you have discovered. You are absolutely correct...those things that we are to think on, things which are true, noble, just , pure, lovely, good, virtuous and praiseworthy THEY ARE GOD!!! I love that! How did you discover that??
I am really going through a struggle, all of this sounds so out of reach to me sometimes. But, any step (no matter how small ) towards God and Godly behavior has to be a step in the right direction. So, I keep plugging away. Keep me in your prayers.
